about me

My name is Rita Harb and I am a graphic designer and artist working under the name of Rita Ritz. Art has always been a focus in my life, but graphic design has taken center stage.

EDUCATION:

I studied Psychology and Criminology at King’s at Western, gaining insights into human behavior. Post-graduation, I discovered my true passion in art and launched a watercolor pet portrait business. This fueled my shift towards creativity, leading me to enroll in the Graphic Design program at Fanshawe College.

SKILLS:

In the program, I excelled in Creative Cloud applications, showcasing notable abilities in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Additionally, I deepened my knowledge of color theory and typography, setting the foundation for a successful career in graphic design.

With my strong skill set and ambitious drive, I have earned significant achievements. I won the Home County Music & Art Festival poster design contest, and the Chilvers Big Picture Award from the Fanshawe School of Design.

GOAL:

My design style blends artistic principles with unique solutions, drawing inspiration from nature. I’m passionate about animal rights and the environment, aiming to use my skills for positive, thought-provoking design solutions that support these values.
